Ten New Football Rules – June 18, 2018

There was a meeting of the ANEFO on Monday, June 18, 2018. First, Skip Likins, ANEFO President, introduced the members of the ANEFO Executive Board, stated the importance of keeping members’s profiles up-to-date, the criteria for being an ANEFO member in good standing, a welcome to the new members, background checks, concussion course requirement, the mentoring program, and other general information. Later, Tom Brow, ANEFO Rules Interpreter, discussed the new rules with regard to the following: knee pads and pants, timeouts for equipment violations, player’s shirt, referee camera, fair catch location, a score with no time remaining on the clock, blocking below the waist, crack back blocks, peel back blocks, offensive restrictions, and illegal leaping.
