Charles Cambria and Anthony Fullana were the featured guest speakers, along with Tommy Brow, Rules Interpreter, at the ANEFO meeting on September 28, 2015. Their handouts and/or resources are located at the bottom of this article. First, Charles Cambria discussed scoring rules including: when a touchdown is scored, the one and two point try, fouls during a try before and after a change in team possession, field goals, safeties, touchbacks, and initial impetus. Next, Tommy Brow discussed the passing game. His presentation included: illegal passes and the succeeding spot exception, pass throw under duress, pass thrown not under duress, intentional grounding, spiking the ball to stop the clock, and several interesting “you make the call” plays. Later, Anthony Fullana discussed snapping and passing the ball which including: scrimmage plays, offensive and defensive requirements, backward passes and fumbles, and three interesting “you make the call” plays. Anthony then presented and narrated the following two video clips: 1) 2014 NCAA College Football Officials, 2) 2015 Roger Redding Football Rules Review.
