Richard Cacciatore, President, presided at the fifth, in-person ANEFO meeting of the 2021 Football Season on Monday, September 20, 2021 at the Irish-American Club. President Cacciatore greeted the members and discussed various updates about the football season.
Tom Brow, Rules Interpreter, was the first guest speaker. This week the scenarios involved penalty enforcement on an offensive holding call and a backward pass thrown out of bounds late in the game by a team that was trailing in points.

Finally, Brian Doherty, former ANEFO President, discussed how he conducts his pre-game conference with the chain crew. He reviewed what he discusses with the person holding the box, the clip, and chains. He also explained how he uses tape to indicate the five yard mark on the middle of the chains as well as how to conduct a measurement involving all five officials.

At the end of the meeting, there was an opportunity for ANEFO members to ask some excellent questions. During his closing remarks, President Cacciatore wished everyone good luck during the season. The next meeting will be Monday, September 27, 2021.
