Bob also discussed the 2021 MIAA Overtime Rules; the defense can score on a turnover (except the on try), don’t use down markers or chains, and the infamous one extra play when Team A fouls Team B after a change of possession.
Next, Anthony Fullana challenged the officials to enforce NFHS rules when it comes to wearing protective knee pads, not wearing excessive eye shade, and wearing jewelry or plastic decorative arm or muscle bands around the wrists, ankles and/or biceps.
Tom Brow, Rules Interpreter, was the final guest speaker. The topic of Tom’s visual presentation was the questions and answers of the 2021 ANEFO online preseason exam, a thorough exam developed by the PreSeason Exam Committee.
