Once again we are offering fifty-six brief NFHS football rules review videos to help prepare us for the 2024 high school football season (see list below). Each topic will include the definition of the rule and most of these videos will also include one or more video clips from local high school football games that will help illustrate the review topic. The review videos are arranged in a chronological order that mirrors the Rules Book; Rules 1-10. The review videos are geared for both new officials who are studying the NFHS Rules Book for the first time, and seasoned officials who are engaged in their diligent annual review of the NFHS Football Rules.
Once you start the video presentation, there will appear a [-] symbol in the bottom right corner. It is important that you select the [-] symbol to see the video in full screen. Although not necessary, it is recommended that you select “1.5X” time before you hit play. The video will play faster and will reduce the viewing time almost in half.

The Massachusetts 5-Person Crews NFHS Football Manual Review Committee’s goal was to review the 2023 NFHS Game Officials Manual, make recommendations, educate officials, and promote a unified implementation of its procedures in high school football games across the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
