You Make the Call – October 29, 2018

There was a meeting of the ANEFO on Monday, October 29, 2018. The officials viewed this week’s video highlighting several college football plays and game officials’ decisions. Later, Tom Brow, ANEFO Rules Interpreter, discussed two interesting plays that were part of the “You Make the Call” scenarios. The first play involved a 10 yard run, a facemask foul by a linebacker at the end of the 10 run, followed by fumble, a recovery by A5 who ran an additional 50 yards. Then there was an interesting discussion about the same play, this time with the facemask foul by Team B during a pass play (from the time the pass is thrown until it is completed or ruled incomplete).
